John decided to start a major redevelopment project . . . on Ohui beach in New Zealand. Based on Amsterdam's lock system for moving water through the city without flooding or destroying it, he allowed a fresh water stream it's natural course to the ocean through his city. The project encompassed over two days' effort and the work of over a dozen contributors.
