The 45 spacer was created to allow 7 inch vinyl singles that played at 45 rpm ’Äî rotations per minute ’Äî "singles" to be played on the same phonographs that played 10 inch records that spun at 33 1/3 rpm -

The larger hole for singles originated in America as a result of the Jukebox in 1950. Go here for my HISTORY.

I gave my yellow plastic 45 spacer to my friend Lee Downey, in Bali. Lee is a jeweler. For my brithday, he sent it back to me - or rather, he sent me this beautiful solid silver casting made from my plastic spacer.

I am selling these for Lee ... $45.

Always on sale for $33.
